I am a female Lebanese artist currently based in Berlin, Germany.
In my color grading work, visual language and how colors and details translate a story are prioritized. As a director myself, I feel the importance of consistency between the look and the director’s intentions when it comes to creative decisions.
In my personal work, I am interested in expressing, as well as questioning, my vision of what we call Reality—a chaotic, controversial, absurd, and violent one.
As a result of my recent work on the short film “Glory Hole”, I got nominated for the “Lisa Frank Award” for best color grading at BizarroLand Film Festival 2023, Orlando, Florida. For my directing work, I established my path by winning first prize in 2020 at the 26th edition of the European Film Festival in Lebanon for my first short film “Chronique de la Vacuité (Void Chronicle)”.
My native languages are Arabic and French. I speak fluent English and good German as well.
